Is there the thick Dot matrix band at the top? I'v done loads of E46's i couldn't imagine them being much different. Thanks for the info in advance!

No point in deleting this thread, it may help someone else in the future, don't you think it's nice to have a reference like this? It would be much use if we deleted every resolved topic.

The 4 doors don't have the thick dot matrix band at the top of the rear screen but the 2 doors do...

Tintdude i love these 'Makes & Models' sub-forums, they're really helpful! But this one didnt really help thats all. But Just to let people know, they are so easy! Wee Buns! I did strip the seats out because you cant get the 3 rear Headrests out and they are in the way. Also if your really fussy you can remove the material part of the parcel shelf and 'C Pillar' Side air bag covers too. It makes there so much room to move and allow good cleaning/sanding/glueing Many thanks Folks Jamesy

The head rests can be removed without taking out the back seat, they are tight against the roof lining but they will come out.

Yeah thats easy for you to say this is the first one of this type ive done !!
I know I get labeled as a hack for saying this but I always chop off that hard plastic rubber from the rub rail before i reinstall it on E90's (BMW 3 sedan). The slightest bit of dirt gets on it there are scratches galore on the tint once the window has been up and down a few times....

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
