Full Version: PayPal Question
I'm just in the process of getting a Visa/Debit machine from Moneris right now, but in the meantime I probably will have someone who wants to pay by Visa. Is there anyway you can use PayPal to do this? I'm pretty sure I've read on here a couple guys use it...

Moving to shop management...
Sorry TD, thanks for moving it!
So Stan, do you mean an email money transfer like you'd do through your online banking? Or do you mean they can send it via PayPal using a credit card? Sorry, I'm stupid as hell today.
They have to set up a PayPal account. I think I got the question wrong
You need to set up a business merchant paypal account. Once you submit your bank info, Paypal will deposit a couple cents in your account and when they do, you need to go to the site and put the amount that was deposited to verify your bank account. You can request a paypal debit card so you can have instant access to money sent to you. The customer doesnt have to be signed up with paypal to pay you. They can just put in their credit card info and do it as a one time deal. Hope that helps.
only bad thing about pay pal is that they take a % of your $$$
Or at least they used to... I dont know if they do anymore
They take 3%, but depending on what you are paying the credit card processor, it may not be so bad.
