LT820 PDR Kit

The two rods are 5/8 and 1/2 which are at the upper end of the diameter range of the tools in the $1300 kits. The tips
can be reoriented via some tightening screws and it includes a roller ball tip. Is this any good? I can't afford the $1300 kits.
I do my own mechanical repairs so I figure I should be able to learn this (or at least try).
