Well its not a certain vehicle Ive seen them on a few different ones like Mitsu Suv's and the small pushout windows in the back on a F-250 exc just curiouse how to get arround those really close

Better off taking them out, I do alot of tractors and I always have to take the glass out, makes it much easier, no light gaps!! Might get a buddy to help, unless you have extremely long arms

Just looking at them they look like a major PITA
if i'm not taking the glass out i use one of these ...
I love doing tractors, The owners are great to deal with, they usually understand the time thing, especially the dirt issue, much more understanding than car owners. Easy money, no heavy shrinking, no bs!!!

I've done a few and wanted to know what other people were charging.
ya ive been using that triangle thing but it leaves a gap and i am not satisfied with that. My problem was i tried to unscrew it from the inside but the little circle thing in the outside keeps turning and I am not sure what to use to keep it from turning.

On average ---$ give or take, I have done a couple with cust. supplied tint (JANKY!) for ---$ no warranty. I dont charge by sqft, or type, just wing it. Ive found to shoot the job high and explain the reason, having to dismantle the doors, bg, sg and so on. Farmers around here understand that...then when your done and it looks good, take off xx-xx$ and have a customer for life! Please adview it should have two flat spots for a open end wrench to fit over so you can unbolt it
to me taking off the lift arms is the easy part. The hard part is after cutting the circle when you go to put the arms back on and start turning the bolts. It will grab the tint and twist it all up. Ive tried heating the tint up and maybe drying it but still had no luck. The only thing I do is tell the custy to come back in a couple days once its dried and I'll put the lift supports back on. What do you guys do?
all you have to do is use anything to give you the size circle as a guide depends on the size sometimes i use a dime or a quarter to follow. so you dont have to take off the hardware you make a cut from the edge of the film to the circle you cut out so the film splits in half there and you can get it around the inside window mount i only do this when the mount are on the right side of the window. some windows have 1 mount on the left side of the window and 2 on the right i take the screws out and and install the film and cut the holes out an then use your heat gun to heat up the film where the holes are so when you reinstall the the window putting the screws back into the mounts don't twist your film and screw up the installation

The only problem with pulling the latch off and filming behind the "black thingy" is that I am not 100% sure, when the BT goes back on and is tightened down, assuming you wait till its dry. I see cars like F250 F350 etc, rear 1/4 fingering from behind the BT a few yrs later. Sometimes, even though it does not look as good, a small ammount of daylight around a pivot point may not be a bad thing.
