Yep, and the new guy is just as close to the door as Davies was....

Corporate politics prevail in a situation like that....
Another 2 or 3 years and someone else will step up from where they are to take less money than their predecessor and the wheel goes round again..... dunno.gif

I don't know if he directly controled policy and warranty but he's an example of another corporate guy that just does not understend the value of business relationships. If he and everyone else at Solutia treated their customers with respect and professionalism instead of like some dumb ass tinters they would stop driving us away. I'll never go back to them no mater what the price or product is!

Ten years ago I knew everybody ( Vickers, Winkler, Kubler, etc.) at CP. but when they lied about the haze factor with their film I jumped to Huper and they screwed me on every warranty from that day forward. Vindictive bastards

It's definately Karma. Davies and his cronies laid off more than half their sales force AND at the same time raised prices drastically. So, the guy who go out and bust their hump to sell the product were expendable, leaving no face for the retailer to see, BUT, they did pass on a nice lil price jack up. Seems fair to me!!!!!

YA GOT YOURS, THERE, KENT!!!!!

CP will sell film to anybody anywhere. And the lawsuit is the result of their own misdeeds. Substituting cheap components and raise your price is not a business model that works these days. Steve Phillips took the reigns of Common wealth and Suntek has whipped their ass. Better service, product and what a supprise....they handle a warranty claim quickly and easily.

It's sooooo nice to see an ethical supplier kick the chit outta the industry stooge. My hat's off to Steve Phillips for taking on CP and to those of you that have not tried Suntek, their films are much better quality than CP and OH....they'll treat you with respect too! And the best thing about Suntek is they don't sell directly to your customers like Madcow, CP and MMM.

All of this is the norm. Fly may think SunTik is just sekking to dealers, but they will do what they have to to make a sale. After seeing how they dealt to get dealers in the NE, I can believe they will do it all.
And I still stand by my prediction that LLuLLU will be changing owners, in this tough economy, where the other parts of the company need a boost, selling off the film end makes perfect sense. Lets wait and see................my info is pretty good...............

Am I naive regarding Suntek? Not likely guys. They just have not crossed me like CP and Madcow and worked hard to give all we ask for. They took it in the arse from a guy that split town owing them well over 100K so maybe that's why they play nice here. I only use their FG films and no problems in 7 years. With regards to CP I have inside information and Solutia has to unload them. They need the cash.
