Do you need to shrink the side windows?

Do all the windows need to be shrinked befor applying? Also what is the best way to cut the micro egde? The top of the glass is rounded and I got nothing to rest the blade edge against. I am very new to this and I am having trouble with them. Any info would be great.

I either snap or do a quick wet shrink on almost every roll down, just eliminates the possibility of any fingers popping up upon install. as for the edge, you need to angle your blade upwards and backwards, so its pushing the film onto the glass to keep it from shifting.

Thanks for the reply. What is a snap? After I cut my pattern I place it back on the window but dont get any fingers. How do I get them to show so I can shrink them?
