Get It Darker
Hey guys

After reading post about how other tinters have been paying for electronics that get wet, I decided to be a lot more careful when it comes to new cars i usually use an old film liner to cover up electronics in front and in the rear deck, but now im going to buy a big blue tarp just to be able to cover the entire thing check it out and be safe beer.gif

Nice to see this as I do cover all front and rear also since the day I started. When you say blue tarp are you referring to the outside plastic type? If so you may want to cuciter the use of a cloth tarp as it will conform better to the contours of the dash better and take sum towels and place them against the windshield to catch the water also. Also you can use it to cover the rear seats to keep down dust as you move about the inside of the vehicle to do the rears and it will also prevent the loss of tools. And the lighter color will help as it will make the inside lighter as you will see better. twocents.gif

We use waterproof mattress protectors. They're white, so good for light, soft so easy to contour also and have an absorbant fabric side to catch water.

As an afterthought incontinence bed liners would work the same way too.

If use microfiber towel, is more good.

i bought a couple of the 120 thread count twin sheets at wal-mart for about $2.50 each. works pretty good for me.

I use the canvas type drop cloth from Home Depot, they work good and they can be washed.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
