Full Version: immobilising engine on 2009 Grand Jeep Cherokee
We are trying to install a normal immobilizing relay on a Gran Cherokee Limited 2009. The installer said he won´t do it for fear of burning down the computer. I know sometimes it can be done by installing the relay on a specific fuse in the fuse box in the engine, anybody any clue if that can be done and which fuse exactly would be the correct one?
?? I don´t know, what we need to do is to install a relay to shut down the engine, usually you take the high voltage wire at ignition, cut it and install relay, but the 2009 has a black box at ignition with a bunch of cables coming out, so looking for alternatives to install the relay....
Installing immobilizer on 2009 Grand Cherokee is kind of pointless.... There is no way to beat the factory immobilizer

Let me guess, guns are outlawed there so only the outlaws have guns?
It's getting extremely dangerous, thinking seriously to leave. Got a 2.5 year old, makes you think if it's really worth to be exposed to all this shiat everyday...
