Never Fails...

The week before vacation is quite slow and the week during, you get blasted with tint estimates and jobs. I got two jobs to do for my window blind company two from my own marketing and three estimates and I am still 750 miles away trying to enjoy my last day here (even though it started to rain lastnight). I guess it will be catch-up when I get back....I know I know...WHAAAAAAAA!!!

At least you'll make up some $$$ for the time off....Relax and enjoy your last day

Well I am back.... Got the two estimates done and both excepted. Now I will be workin my azz off over the next week or two getting 6 jobs done. All are 200sf + with ceramic film. Well at least my stress tank was almost at zero when I got back, and its at about 1/4 tank now...lol

do you not have any competition or are you simply getting all these jobs and selling out for cheap

There are about 5 or so FG companies in the area that serves about 500,000 + area. We have about 10 or so suburb areas with the city of Columbus in the center. My prices are right on as the national average goes. I sell mostly ceramic film these days and the cost per sqft is in the double digits, so I am not a bottom feeder. I believe all the mass marketing I have done in the past two years is finally paying off. I remember the days of mailbox flyers and yard signs.... Also my website is ranked within the top 5 when people search FG key words. You gotta use craigslist and link your site to it....It never fails when things get slow, I post a few ads on craigslist and the phone or email starts to blow up.....Oh and there are those times when your just plain lucky. I just sold a $2500 job to a guy who asked me for a card when I was at the post office the other day. He just built a 3 story lake house.. And when his neighbor saw me doing the estimate, he asked me to stop over at his house when I was done.
