Need suggestions on heat reduction tint for Lexus

The site is great with lots of info and I'd like to confirm some ideas I've gotten.

I'm looking for tint for a 2005 Lexus LS430 with black exterior and saddle interior (darker tan).
I'm looking for good heat reduction and am willing to pay up to about $500 to get the good stuff.
I live in South Carolina and want to stay legal so I'm limited to 27%.
I also plan on keeping the car for a very long time (more than 10 years) since it currently has only 13,500 miles.
I also would like to stay away from the greenish tints.
I'm 58 so I'm somewhat concerned about going real dark and still being able to see clearly, but I do have a camera in reverse.
I also have the electronic gadgets including GPS and a smart key.

I first was looking at 3M Crystalline in light shades but found on this site that 3M is a known brand name but is generally thought of as inferior on this site.
I've since drifted to the 30-40% ceramic films from other manufacturers.

Some I've looked at are Huper Optik Ceramic and Formula 1 Pinnacle.
It looks like Huper has better TSER but apparently has a greenish tint compared to Pinnacle, and I think Huper is more expensive.
Huper is also 100 miles away, but my son lives there so it wouldn't be too inconvenient.
Pinnacle is done by a local shop.
LLumar ATX (Axcess) also looks decent.

Any suggestions or recommendations for other films would be greatly appreciated.
Also will I lose much visibilty or add intallation issues going 30% vs. 35 or 40?

Out of all films mentioned...Huper is the best choice. There is not much difference between 35% & 40%.

why is that funny? finally a customer is willing to pay whatever it takes to get a good product and you're laughing about it? most people here know exactly what i'd love to call you right now.

yes considering u want to keep it light i think huper has the best specs. you can also look into the new solargard UP film. heard it performs well in light shades

as far as 3M, lets just say i own one of the most famous lexus's and i have 3M on it. i used the 3M CS line on it because i like the color and how it cancels the green out. this is my car with 50% 3M. the crystalline is way too expensive for me to try and sell here. sorry for the weak pic but i dont have many with the windows up

Nice someone used the search feature, and did some research thumb.gif
Personally I'm a fan of Huper's cer. 50 and 40. Whether 30, 35, or 40, (huper doesn't make a ceramic 35, but you may look at energy saver 35),you won't have any visiblity issues. Good luck beer.gif

I'm a huge fan of the SolarGard UP50 and charge about your price range for the install. I would try and see some cars first hand and pick what you like. This is the UP50 on my old car

ive never shrank the UP film yet, how difficult was that neon back glass? that needs a lot of shrink to get that one down. did it handle it well?

Had a friend do a vette in UP30, it is doable and doesnt Ghost. Shoot I did my F150 w/s in UP75 and I'm a rep spit.gif

I had pics somewhere of a white LS430 with tan interior in UP40 it looked money. Lookin for em right now.

It's not easy to shrink, nor is it fast to shrink, but I didn't have much problem I cut the film as long as I could so that if any ends got a little too hot, they would be cut off when I cut it out.

Ok cuz that's exactly what I wouldve done too. Glad to see it on a difficult one.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
