I did more checking and Pinnacle 35 is available locally from an installer who seems to know what he is doing and has installed Pinnacle and says installation isn't much different than F1 Comfort.
I called the Huper installer that is 90 miles away. Lady that answered the phone first proposed some on sale tints. I meantioned HO Ceramic and could hear her talking to someone in the background who quoted a good price on HO ceramic but said the don't recommend it darker than 40 because they have installation issues. I think they are a new HO installer based on their website and I did not get a feeling that I would get a good result. Their quoted HO ceramic was $50 less than the F1 Pinnacle.
Right now I'm leaning to the local Pinnacle.

Why are you tinting your car? because of heat rejection? UV? Glare? or looks? dunno.gif

heat rejection.
I know that HO ceramic is better than Pinnacle for heat rejection but I have no confidance that HO dealer can install it to my satisfaction.
The tints with better specs aren't available in my area and installers don't stock them as they don't sell. Early on when I asked the 3m installer about crystalline he acted like he'd never heard of it.
The Formula 1 installer is the only one in South Carolina and his Pinnacle jobs come from Myrtle Beach or Charleston which are 2 hours away.

Thats the problem depending on the area you are in i guess that would be your best bet. Geoshield Window films makes an 70% that blocks 54% and a 30% that blocks 60% but gets a bit shiny.

If you dont wnat to spend the money on Huper there is always other films to choose from with great numbers. But it all depends in your area. beer.gif

Not everyone has the skills to install Huper... the film is great but if the company is not comfortable with the install then go elsewhere. twocents.gif

Be nice if you could experience a supurb Huper install on your vehicle. But as a long time dealer/installer of Huper I have to agree you want someone that is familiar with the film.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
