Full Version: microfiber towels

Murray
I read on here a while back about using microfiber towels for cleaning, and I have always used bountys for everything. Lately I have been using the microfiber towels for cleaning the outside and inside of the glass, I can tell a major difference on what I was spending on bountys compared to now. I use one bounty towel per window for the final wipe around the edges before I put the film to the glass. Every afternoon when I finish for the day I scrub the towels with soap and water and hang them up for the next day.

Thanks for that! I now know i'm not the cheapest SOB on the planet!!! lol2.gif How about you try an off brand towel for the wipe down and then trashem? dunno.gif

how about just not using throw away towels at all?

I use two types, these for hard carding

and these for cleaning

I have a uniform company that stocks me up on them, along with TP and bathroom towels, soap, hand cleaner, etc. so it's pretty convenient.

I like using bountys for wiping the edges (less lint) and they absorb water better.

I would rather waste money on good paper towels than use the cheap ones that fall apart as soon as you get them wet. twocents.gif

are they good about not leaving lint?

Never had a problem and I use the terry ones after I clean with a razor to wipe off the water, it's really a nice way to cut back on waste, if the cars aren't super dirty, I use the same two towels all day or more.

Those hard card ones look nice, I will have a look for something similar over here...or if you're feeling generous :-)

now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
