Hey, can any of you guys hook me up with some pointers on doing a back window on a 64 el camino. we'd like to do it one piece, if possible, naturally. thank you beer.gif

Clear out as much of the interior urethane goop as you can, then make a pattern from the INSIDE, cut the film, shrink on the outside and install. If you try to cut your film on the outside it will never fit. The shrink isn't as bad as it looks, it's the urethane and size difference that makes it a PITA. smile22.gif

Thank you so much, i think the problem is it's not a 64. its a compound curve like a vette and i've been hearing it should be flat. the customer pulled the glass and brought it in, so idk....
TintDude
Ya, I pretty much ignored the date and assumed it was the curved one if you were asking for advice. It's cool that it's out of the car, that will make it alot easier, just remember to tint the correct side Flaugh.gif thumb.gif

You will have it easy out of the car for sure. I do what tintdude said, cut it small and if the inside if all messed up, leave a gap and make a black border with stripe. I used to have a camino. Thats how it was done. th_wheel.gif th_wheel.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
