VW Eos

Found out something from the shop foreman today. When retracting the convertible top on the new Eos, be careful not to stop mid opening, or even worse, open halfway, and then try to close. This can overheat and burn out the motors for some reason. Just thought I would put this out there for others to watch out for. I just tint the back window with top up, then retract roof fully, trick the doors and go to town.

wonder if a helping hand would change things at all? it almost sounds like a recall or refitting a bigger motor for it? sounds crazy
