that's a pretty cool install video on the site.
DI-NOC is some cool chit
If anybody deals with Mini dealerships, they will be all over this. A factory carbon dash kit alone costs $550!!!! This can be done for a fraction of the price. Not only do you make money on it, the dealership will make more selling the film over the actual kit. No brainer.
Someone ought to show the installer in the car install video the MSDS for the different primers and their instructions regarding appropriate breathing apparatus
It looks like she is using this one: http://multimedia.3m.com/mws/mediawebserve...U_LXT1u666666-- I found those with a quick google. The 900n primer has some neat stuff called free isocyanates in it and the safe exposure limit is 0.005 ppm. http://multimedia.3m.com/mws/mediawebserve...U_LXT1u666666-- http://multimedia.3m.com/mws/mediawebserve...U_LXT1u666666-- I know I'd be wearing a respirator mask in a car if I had an open can in the car with me!!! MSDS sheets are there for you to know what you are dealing with. Please use them.
That's awesome stuff
(WearTheFoxHat @ Jul 12 2009, 06:10 PM) [*]702239[/*] I know I'd be wearing a respirator mask in a car if I had an open can in the car with me!!! The buzz is a bonus.
Where is a good place to buy these?

We just did an install on a new BMW X5M on the Rocker Panels and Fender Flares. We have also experimented covering the Di-Noc in PPF and found a gresat way to give the Di-Noc a different look and feel.. Here is a link to the pictures.. Di-Noc Carbon Fiber Installs
does anyone know anything about removing this. ive heard they expect 3-4 years out of it and its a permanent adhesive. i really got to get some samples i think id be great for interior pieces.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
