New Suzuki Swift

Watch when fitting Sunstrips.....

Put plenty of towels etc at the bottom of the windscreen on the inside, the ECU is mounted in the drivers foot well and plugs are facing upward, I used a small amount of water for cleaning and fitting the strip and it ran down the 'A' Pillar and into the ECU!

The wipers and radio came on and relays started clicking! I nearly SH!T myself lol I disconnected the battery in a panic and pulled the ECU out, a small drip of water came out of the housing! I took out the main board and dried it, cleaned and put back in with no problems! Could have been an expensive lesson but i got off with it!

Lesson Learned!

Take care

nice the engine wasnt running and everything went out ok beer.gif:

people: wet connectors or circuits ALWAYS let them dry before trying to see if it still works because it got water on it!

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
