I would say step one... call your competitors and get prices from them to get a idea of what the market is expecting...
Booms2Go
Step two....determine HONESTLY if You are as good as Your competition or better...then price up or down accordingly.

Yeah, but I can't call like everytime I am going to do a car or truck and ask them what they would charge! I got a bad ass hillbilly accent, it's not like they would'nt know it was me everytime!! LOL!!!

Do you know glass? Can you identify tempered. float, low-e and all the other technologies? If not, don't get into flat unless you want to learn glass

thats one reason i play it safe, and usually recommend a 30 or 40 standard film, or a 50 ceramic. Safe more almost every type of glass, especially in our mild climate.

it helps to have done a lot of cars to price them ,because there are a lot of them that I charge more now that I've done one, since their not as easy as they look(older escapes, thunderbirds, classic cars)

for bidding res/comm, basically measure sq/ft and price that. Figure out what you need to get the job done. Like I have a $60 scaffold fee(costs me $22/day to rent it), $350 small scissor lift and $600 large scissor lift fee, etc. You learn fast what you need to do the job correctly.

beer.gif There you go all your problems are solved LOL. Calling around does not mean to call on every car. I would call and tell them you have a _____________ insert average 4 door car and later call back and tell them you have a __________ average large SUV this gives you an idea of what to charge.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
