Solar Gard HP Smoke

anyone have any experience with this film

I do

very thin. looks ok. hard to work with.

Its a good film but HP Supreme is better with a color stable warranty

oh yea, i was thinking of supreme, which i think it too thin and flimsy which makes it had to work with. takes getting used to. but its a good looking film.

I'd use Supreme over HP Smoke but it also depends on the budget. Supremes clarity its outstanding and it lays on matrix so well. Does take a little getting used to it being a 1 mil. Hp Smoke is a 1.5 mil

It's not color stable but nice to work with. Easy shrink, looks good, about as thick as ATR or Marathon i think

i've tried supreme before, to flimsy, kinda hard to work with and creases easily. I dont know but solar gard has always never had anything i like

Supreme takes a minute to get used to, I can tell you I've seen it removed from a truck in Corona (aka hotter than hurl) after 4 years with no color change at all. If I'm doing volume I'll take that over a thicker film with questionable color stability.

I'd be in heaven if it was 1.5 mil though

i like the nr smoke for budget film works well looks good and 5yr warranty

Solar Gard was kind to send me a sample of Ultra 20 and HP 20 smoke, i havent had a chance to try ultra, but i got a dab at hp 20 smoke and its a nice color film very thick far from thin, great adhesive, shrinks very nice, no complaints here just who knows when it starts to fade actually it was the 5 and its dark! dark as hell!

two thumbs up for now.

You'll like the ultra

Just did Supreme 40 on my windshield, looks nice, good clairity, shrinks great..but superrr thin...I might have a couple small little creases for installing it..
