Full Version: Looking to order my first lot of film
I am at a point where I am going to order my first lot of film. This is for automotive and I am looking at starting out with 40 inch rolls. I am in FL so what is the best say 3 or 4 VLTs to purchase to start my inventory? I have been playing with suntek but would be interested in checking out other brands if the pricing is right. Mainly I am wanting to order what will sell as this is my first real investment.
I would not make a big order until you have tried a few brands and know what film you like.
i do know that in my first order through suntek, there are a 20% discount on account first orders, yet this one about 6 years ago. we use suntek carbon, and global qdp for trucks. we get suntek 40" rolls from 55%,35,18, and 5%. in global we get only use 20% and 5% for trucks and we get that film in a 60" roll cut down 24/24/12. global is a good film and the price is great. you also must consider globals price to is 10% better than all others since they give you 10% more film on the roll.
I will have to hit them up and see what the deal is and try it out.
i use llumar and johnson....
llumar - ATR30,20,15,5 johnson - Greystone 30,20,10 and just ordered up some Marathon 30,20,5
i like the way that marathon looks. basically its just SP for put together differnt? that what i have heard at least, im may be wrong. is there a price difference on the SP and marathon? there shouldnt be if they are basically the same thing.
sungard is having a special...-- bucks...any 20" roll of auto film...while supplies last...it may save ya some $$

well....silhouette will last 8+ years up here so if marathon is as good as it then i'm golden.

Snappy, why do you use a different brand of film on trucks?
