Full Version: Film handleing
Quick question for the seasoned vets around here!!! whats your trick to handleing very large peaces of film. I tint oddball stuff like tour busses and const equip !!! ive tried spliting the liner into two parts and ancoring my one side slightly then pullling the liner and spraying it.. It works just kinda a small kluster #### to do it and time consuming!! im a one man operation so getting a extra set of hands normally isnt a option... Thanks Jay.. River City Tint
are you laying the film on the outside to cut on those? I doubt it....if so then lift the liner half, wet, lift the other half, wet, then do a reverse roll...
If you are doing 5% film on those then look at Johnson's MG05 flat glass film....dry adhesive that you can drop/snap! Works so nice.... What size are you talking about too?? "very large" can have many meanings...
Some i have to cut from the outside some from the inside it all depends on what country the piece of equipment came from it seems like !!! lol ....... so your saying pull my liner like normal and roll up the tint on the non adhesive side and roll on window left to right????? As in what size am i dealing with it can be anything from 5ft long 40 wide to what 2ft 30 wide. it really depends on what it is..
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
