Do they think it will be dark enough for them or are they going to add shades also?

Which way do those windows face? and how high is th shrubbery behind them? If those are trees are high they probably get a lot of shade to begin with a 20 would be fine, if they're shorter and thats facing west, may want to go darker..

They are getting shades as well. They just wanted a tinted look not wanting it to be a cave as they watch a lot of regular tv down there, not just movies.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
