hello mate,
quick question, i bought some of your film from a tint shop in southampton, england (im in london) we drove down (2 hour drive) and bought 3 rolls, 1x5%, 1x35% and 1x50% so, arrived back in london and started using the film, well, the 35% was allright except for adhesion issues but the other 2 have lots of white specks in them?? do you stand by the quality of your film? what are you going to do? im out of pocket, i still have 2 rolls more or less untouched? thanks, good day. It is unusual to get any specs in the film from manufacture, it is very common for a beginner to get white specks when installing.. you will fight this all your tinting life. In other words - the fault will most likely be due to your technique and not the product. [/quote] NAUGHtYDOG; thanks for your kind words, as you have no idea weather im a beginner or el veterano i'd appreciate if you did'nt jump in, as this was a question for leo, not you! you've seen that this is my fifth post, and im a recent member, so, i should of expected some smart alec comment from someone on here, yes, i have only tinted 50 cars or so, and yes i do consider myself a novice, but please dont assume my technique is second rate, its not (well, so the senoritas say, hahaha) to round up, the specs are between the liner and the film straight of the untouched roll, so im doubting it down me, next time you put your oar in, get the info first mate, thankyou. as nearly everyone on here always tries to outdo each other, i might aswell jump on the bandwagon too, tinted a 70's bug (glass out) over the weekend, rear screen laid down a treat, hows your shrink technique on the old bug rear screen guv'nor??? pictures to follow, thankyou, goodnight.
OMG....
Issues..... Anyone can show pictures, of there work, but I bet that bug back screen is full of white spec's!!! lmao
I hope your work is better than your attitude because thats %&$#..............
QUOTE (blanco_londres @ Aug 2 2009, 02:44 PM) [*]707232[/*] thanks leo, appreciate the quick response, i'll contact you direct by email, best regards. I am always online!
Leo iz alwayz online!
OMG and you are who!!
You will get nowhere hear with such a bad attitude, I have never had a film with contamination built-in free from the factory - but hey ho - i use premium products! OK - next time you come along asking for advise, you can be sure you'll get lots of help from the UK boys. ( NOT!) QUOTE (Booms2Go @ Aug 3 2009, 11:28 AM) [*]707372[/*] Leo iz alwayz online! He is virtual man
i will have a different view than the rest of you but if a roll of film sits to long the white specs will apear...i have a roll at the house that i had for long time that has gone bad...i unrolled twenty plus feet and still white specs never pulled the clear off..
"so to you none believers it happens" adheisive fail!
thanks for all your comments like, i've got a bad attitude, im a wanka, i wont get far etc, etc blah blah blah
if you read and understand my response then you'll see that its warranted, i did'nt come on here asking for advice, i posted a direct question to leo, not you or any of your "uk" mates! although i do appreciate all the input on this site from all the international contributers, most of you are great and i've picked up a lot of tricks and knowledge that i use everyday, i dont really appreciate unknown person jumping on my back as soon as i post a reply or question to an individual, a lot of you "professional" tinters seem to take great pleasure in trying to disuade newcomers from tinting and attacking the new guy at every concievable chance you have, personally i think the attitude stinks! but hey, i dont live my life on the internet and definately will not be "getting into it" with anyone on here as im no internet thug! thankyou.
chill...i did'nt jump on your back, it was fair advice - we have people on here all the time with white specks so the reply was warranted...
if you need leo his e mail is in his profile, you could have quite easily kept it all private. in fact, i am sure he would not want details of his film failures posting on here.
