Our 2nd summer order

20" rolls ran low so i called my dist. and ordered in bulk. FREE shipping
this should get us through the summer. these are just the 20" rolls

wanna know what sux? ive been holding off buying tint till august waiting for a promo, been splittin 40s, 36s, and 30s to fit doors. the order finally came in and we were dead today.

thats all atr, next order will be a bulk atc order. its on promo right now anyway but if you buy a lot you can request a better deal, and your rep can drop it off to save on shipping

How much are you saving?

well some manu have promos of 15-25% off. this last order was almost 90 various rolls, most were 20s; and we got more than 25% and rep dropped off the film to save a lot on shipping.

plus big orders like this will make the manu call you with special offers if they need to sell film to reach quarterly a goal.

well lets just say i was gonna order less, and they said if you order at least ______ we can give you ____% off

it has been at least 6 years since i have even held a 20" roll. i just spilt 40's all day and have a few 24" for trucks. its nice to have a 20" for each shade to cut down on the waste when you have a redo of just one window. i would not want to see that bill though.

A guy that I started out working with when I was a teen used to buy 40 to 50 grand in bunk tint that had defective glue and faded fast. nighmare

how long do you think that will last you?

Well a normal order for us is about 28 20" rolls and that usually lasts around 2 months on average. This should last us up till busy time next year. 36 40 60 inch rolls is a complete different order though. 60 yields 2 30s so they last about 2 months. 36 lasts about 2 months. And I order 40s of 15 and 05 only, and those last a while. I hope this 20" order goes fast though cuz that means big money. Doubt it though

Oh reminds me. Imma order my 60s in 32/28 now so I can get those camrys with the 32. Big ups to limo tint larry for that tip. Gotta make more room now for 10 20 24 28 32 36 40 inch rolls now. That's right those r all the sizes I carry. But the 10 is only limo and the 40s only 15 and limo. And to think I would stock 18s also if llumar still sold em.

Its tint. If u plan on sellin it you might as well have all the sizes available

My shop is nowhere near that big. But one day....

nah man we aint big either, our auto sales havent even hit 500k in a single year. like all my reps say, "we are way too cheap". im not in this for get rich quick, i want the long haul cuz i aint got not retirement plan at all. i wanna good name that can take care of me and all my employees, heck maybe even my kids can profit off the business after im gone.

i dont know how you do it using that stuff, i use it sometimes and i cant stand the "squeeking"

Cant say I understand the logic. You want to eventually retire right? I think all of us are in this for the long haul as well, but for me, Id like to venture into real estate with someone else managing the business, with very little work from me.

Id like to build warehouse space. If I can keep it filled...its a cash cow!

i just wanna have my master installers manage and tint. i will still be in one of the shops almost everyday, just not installing. that to me is retirement. i cant just sit at home.

Our orders only contain 60's and 72's. Last order in july was 98 rolls.

98 60s and 72s, if that's all auto that's a lot of film. That must have cost so much unless it was solar free

why overstock? I order as needed and my film arrives next day for auto. 2-3 days for flat ......but i'd rather hang on to my cash

well based on that picture I'd say since their 20's it could fit in just about any compact/midsize suv


if you read the whole thing he got like 25% off(he didn't say exactly, but that was within the range) you don't get that everyday ordering 2-3 rolls at a time. I stock enough film for ~ 3 months at a time, makes it easier and you never run out

95% auto. I dont know about 20'' rolls if they are shiping international we never had it here. Anyway,that was the third order in 2009, first one was 28 rolls and second was 46 rolls.

I guess to save 25% off a complete order,
I would consider that.
