get ready for some panel pulling here they are a pita. panels are not fun either Tight weather strips also bottom seals do pull easy when you get the panel off twocents.gif
MobileTintInc
Anything like the traverse? The upper seals just pull right out of the window, little heat shrink and it tucks right in... I hope so, they sure look the same.
blade
i never pulled the panels on the equinox. just the top back and then remove the gaskets all the way around. biggthumpup.gif
chevtinter
blade yes the 08 09 you can pull back but 2010 if ya puul back you cant get it back in the upper clips w/out f-ing something up no shrinking requiered on side glass but the seal that goes around the rool ups is tight

doing a 2010 right now. the gaskets pulled right out without any panel removal. they also went right back in without any issues at all. dunno.gif
I-tinted-the-pyramids
I have had trouble getting the panels to pop back on a couple new chevy's. maybe there are a couple different style door panels dunno.gif I'll make a note of the next one that causes problems.

i geauss the question is are we dicussing the same thing? gaskets or dew wipes?
blade
the gaskets around the frame don't come out on these. the lower gasket (or as you retardedly call them 'dewwipes') does. Flaugh.gif

My wife is from florida, we fly into JAX to visit her fam often.. we should have a tint off.. "shade tree" vs. Ultimate supremo pro tinter god
I-tinted-the-pyramids
The few gm vehicles I had an issue with "dew wipes" was not pulling them, it was getting the panels to properly snap back over the gasket lip when you put them back in.

look its cool it was not directed at your skill level or was i calling you out....shade tree is a term for people mobile not a skill level...the fact the rain and other things play a roll. i know and have plenty of finds that are mobile tinters, most do good work but linited to where and who they tint for...like if they have a garrage thats full of junk and dont have a proper place to tint...like you said laying tint in a ten-mile-a-hour-wind...you have fun with that...

let me know when you make the trip i have family down in orlando and might be able to hook you up while your down.....

dont take all this the wrong way im sure in the proper enviroment you work is great........the web sight needs work though

i recently did a 2010 no problem w/o pulling panels or gaskets, but i'll pull the gaskets next time, since they pull out so easy.

TintWizard
I have one of these to do soon..I'll add my twocents.gif on the whole gasket thing

For my sake , hope Blade's comments are is the accurate one Flaugh.gif
Tintskillz
I haven't done an equinox yet but I have noticed that some of the newer panels have a second plastic lip on the panel for the gasket to sit in. If it happens to be that type just put the gasket on the panel and pop it all back into place at once.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
