Hi everyone I just had my front 2 windows tinted. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Lmt. the back side and rear window was factory tinted so i want to get the other two. well i had them done, and noticed when i got him there are a few "lines" I guess where the strips of tint were used is this normal or do I need to take it back to have re-done?

Thanks,
Limo Tint Larry

Its dark here, "NC" can't get the picture to come out good. The best way to describe the "lines" they are perfectly straight; the run from top of the window to the bottom "verticle"

sounds like the glass was scratched and you just notice it now as the dark background of window tint will make them stand out....can you feel them with a finger nail?

bingo.gif no tinter, and I mean NO tinter would use strips on the front windows.

this happens all the time, and its just scratches on the outside of the glass. if you take your fingernail and run it over them, you will feel the depression into the glass.

I had a good laugh last week when I was in Flordia. I seen a minivan with a six inch strip on the top of the door glass and another on the bottom, clear in the middle. Wish I could of taken a picture of it.

they do that a lot in dom.rep and other parts of central/south america, limo black complete vehicle (including windshield) and cut out small pieces, shapes/hearts etc to see the road/side mirrors,

good idea due to car jackings and bandidos

think thats funny i see all the time around here top of the drivers door tinted and thats all or how about the rear window of a honda tinted with the bottom half of the window tinted and nothing else on the car . some younger guys around here think its cool to put a larger visor strip at top of windshield and a space in the middle and then a strip at the bottom of the windowshield. these are the ones that think they have money cause they drive a caddy or a navigator with the big wheels .

There was a point in time when I would say that no tinter would ever piece a sunstrip together but...

top 4" on the door is legal in Michigan or it was.....lame, but true!

I had a guy a few years ago that wanted me to put a strip on the tops of his door glasses and it was similar to the look of a vent visor....just a glare strip for him!

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
