Business cards - new or old?

Roach
Do you ever change your business cards??

I've been using the same design since I started back in '03... The company I used (online) isn't around anymore... and I'm having trouble finding another one with the same design.

So I was thinking of a new design.

People usually tell me they like my card... which I know is different then keeping the same logo... I dunno... not like I'll have much of an option if I can't locate the same design...

I normally use vista print, you can load an image? I change mine up each time...once you order they will give you 250 free the next time you order just pay $6 shipping.

scan your card and see if you can clean the image up enough to make a print....

I just did new ones....I used gotprint.com and they have a massive background image gallery in the advanced designer. I made my own and uploaded the images.
lilDetails
used a layout design idea from a fellow signs101.com guy and made my own card off of that.... they look even better printed with the UV coating....
Roach
That's one of the companies I'm thinking of using... Have you gotten your order yet? How's the quality?

lilDetails
I couldn't imagine it would get any better. Nice thickness with the 14 pt card stock. 2500 cards was 40.99 with the shipping....color and gloss front and rear.

Love them! That UV is slick. They said a sharpie would not even stick and I tried it on for size....smeared like crazy and wiped off...

oh and it was like two days after I got my credit card and file info straight with them...
Roach
Cool... I'll probably go with them then.

I wish my logo had a transparent background... it doesn't. It's white... and I know nothing about graphics... so it makes it hard to put it anyplace.

I don't even know if the guy I had make it is still around....

But I really like your card. thumb.gif

send me you logo and any card ideas you have an I can play with them....

if you want to get into designing check out inkscape.org It is an open source vector program that is very similar to Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator....

email lilDetails at yahoo dot com
lilDetails
snapshot of the cards on my hardwood floor....
Murray
thats cheap for 2500 cards
lilDetails
they get cheaper as you get more than that.....

2500 cards works out to 1.46 CENTS each with the shipping and all...

I think that's what I'm going to do.... I found a couple that I like... and I have an idea for a custom design...

We have two different cards. One for Automotive and accessories. The other for Commercial and Residential. I get mine from www.gotprint.com not sure what I payed for them but it wasn't expensive.

Ive had three different cards in 5 years. We just changed the design last month. I do it b/c I get tired of the design. My new ones are front and back....info and name on front, picture on the back. I still keep 'em simple though...never make a busy card.

I just changed my cards also. This is only my second card design. It seems like both times I've got the new cards in I think of different things I can change on my next style card.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
