Full Version: 1990 Ramcharger

JBsTintshop
I read a lot of posts on this forum but i don't post very much, so i'ld like to introduce myself.

I've been tinting for 7 years now i'm 22years old. I got some autozone tint and tinted my first vehicle when i was 16 and a guy in town asked me who tinted my windows. I told him that i had done it myself. He told me that he thought i did a good job. He happened to be the owner of a local truck accessory shop that did window tinting also and asked if wanted to start working for him. Long story short, i went to work for him and learned a lot from another tinter that he already had working there. so thats my short story of how i got started. For the last 4 years i've just been doing side work in my garage that i've made into my tint shop. Works good for me because i have no overhead and its just extra money for me, because i go to school full time.

Anyways........A guy that i tinted a truck for a few weeks back referred me a customer that had a 1990 Ramcharger. The vehicle was pretty easy (besides the cigarrette windows) which i'm sure we all hate doing. everything went really smooth, turned out great. The guy was restoring the vehicle and it was in really good shape, not much old dirt in all the window gaskets or any of that PITA stuff we deal with on old clunkers.

I kind of enjoy doing vehicles that i wouldn't ordinarily run accross. The ramcharger was a first for me.

Does anyone else enjoy doing older, uncommon vehicles just for a change in pace once in a while?
VIP tint + glass
i like doing the difficult stuff as long as its an expensive car. dont really like doin those older suv things, but there are some pretty custom ones around town that ive done.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
