i did my first new style A4 yesterday, checked in makes and models as usual to check for problems and noticed that a few people had said only to tint half way into the thick line of dots at the bottom of the bg, so thats what i did, it went on fone - no problems,

only thing is i cant figure out why???

it leaves a 5-6mm gap along botton and i cant see any reason not to go right down, can anyone elaborate????

im sure there is a reason but i couldnt figure it out,

1. It's easier
2. You limit the chance of getting a heavy silver band at the bottom of the window.
3. You can't tell from the outside you have finished it short.

I do it because it stops the risk of the film touching or resting against any bottom trim where water may lie and can cause problems with contamination or water seeping up from the bottom, oh and it makes the job that little bit easier.

i see, i thought there must have been a reason for it, just wasnt obvious when installing

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
