recently quoted a job for a home owner she is sold on the express hp neutral 35% >... I have never used the series of film nor done much flat glass installation .. the windows are a double pane 23 wide by 52 inches long value window or in other words its a cookie cutter built house no name windows!!! upon looking at the windows the inner pane doesnt appear to remove??? Or does it ?? there is no clips like a pella window just plasic trim peices that appear to hold the glass .. I would like to install it on the inner pane. Will this film work ok for the applcation?? she wants a little privacy and want to cut down on afternoon heat. Thanks Jay River city tint...

The film may be fine. Contact Express and see if the windows fall under the warranty specs. twocents.gif

just looked at the film to glass approval from global. neutral 35 has automatic approval. the absorbtion rate is to high for me @ 49, i'd use something else from howard. try a dual reflective from global.
good luck.

Global doesn't do flat anymore but I'm sure Express has something to offer

if its a standard DP window, theres no way to easily remove the outer pane.

90% of the windows I do are that way, and the rare times when I do pellas are the only time I tint the outside piece of glass.

what is your reasoning for wanting to install it on the outside piece, and not the inside like is industry standard? dunno.gif

I'm not sure, just heard about it on the streets and here. Howard made an informative post about it a while back.

The Express Neutral 35% was specifically constructed for dual pane compatibility.

If the inner surface of the outer pane is accessible, all the better.

That's our #1 most popular flat glass film. SC = 0.48.

Go for it.

Tintstar >> Does a TSEa of 49 make you nervous?? I like your cautious approach, but 49 is hardly "walking on the wild side". Are you in a high elevation??

tsea of 49 and higher is to much of a head ache. i've experience vista, mmm and pano with tsea of 49 and higher break glass the first winter or seals go out sooner here is socal. they all covered the warranty, it's just to much of a head ache to deal with, y'know. most of the track homes out here were mass produce and so were the windows(cookie cutter developments).
nothing wrong with the film. just my twocents.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
