Another Dealership Snafu

So, a customer bought a new CC, and wanted it tinted. I got the job done, and He liked it so much that He brought Me His new Saleen Mustang to do. He really liked that job to. Here's the kicker.....the CC's have a problem with the rear window seals leaking, and mildewing the carpets. His CC began to get a mildew smell.
So the idiot salesman tells the customer that the window tint is applied with water and thats how the mildew smell got in the car.
Now this customer (who's really a pretty cool dude) insists He smells the mildew smell in His new Saleen.....
So instead of telling the TRUTH about the faulty door seals and getting the new carpet for the CC under warranty, now the customer is screaming about wanting a new carpet, sailpanels, headliner and a new rear deck for the Saleen. I've about had it.

haha, yeah.....riiiiight, he should have spent his money on a real car that doesnt have those problems

Tell him that tinting would not affect the seal of the rear window. Plus if they are milding then there is constant water on them.. All cars get wet from tinting and they all dry out.. Tell him to pound some salt..

Crazy Kid ! ... Pull the TSB and show the customer about the defective seal

Funny You should mention that...they did pull the campaign action form and show the customer....He's still a little sceptical though!

Just tell the customer that it is simply not true and he is more than welcome to call around to some other tint shops,then stick to your guns and don't do

Offer to let the guy watch you tint a BG, so that he can see how much, (or how little) water is used....

Then go kick the bigmouth salesman in the junk....
