Screw covers for plastic french door frames?

Anyone know where to find the little plastic press-in screw covers for the plastic frame french doors? I can't seem to find them at any local stores and I don't know what to call them so I am can't find them on the internet either.

I did one the other day that was pretty old and most of them split when I took them out. I'd like to buy a bag of them so I don't have to worry so much about keeping them nice.

On a side note, how does everyone remove them? They always seem to get a chunk taken out of them, no matter what you do.

If you are referring to the little white plastic pop-ins, I use a sharp dentist style tool and hook into the center. It creates a tiny pin hole in the center which is usually not noticeable. If you trash them, go to your local Lowes or HD. Go to the window and door department and have them order you a bunch. If they ask you the stupid question 'Why do you need so many??", tell them that you load them into your pellet gun and shoot the neighborhood kids with them. lol2.gif

Those are the ones. These ones were all dried out and fell apart. I normally stab them with my Olfa but there has to be an easy way. Dentist tool isn't a bad idea.

I tried Lowes, Home Depot, and Ace. I was hoping to find a big bag of them on eGay. The Lowes guy told me to steal them off their display doors but someone had already taken most of them....

I might have to try shooting with them, dump a bunch in my paintball gun....

I use my olfa blade and pry them gently out. Dont stab them, pry it grasshopper...

When I needed some, I went to a new home development that was still being built and I asked some of the construction guys for some.

Maybe worth a shot??

Sometimes the frames are yellowed enough to where the new plugs look too white. Throw some up on your dashboard and weatherize them. twocents.gif

As bad as this sounds.................................Go to Home Depot or Lowes and on top of the doors that have the "grids" there is a bag of plugs on top. Yank them off, if you know what I mean.

It sounds pretty bad, I'll keep my eyes open for a news report:
