Plotter Setup Help

I have been using my Redsail 1360c for around 10 months now and it has never cut right as when it cuts straight lines they are always jagged, and also it struggles with small detailed work.

My weed value is set at 0.15
Curve Resolution at 5
and Knife Offset at 10

Will changing these make it better, also what should they be set at.

what is a redsail 1360 ? Sounds like a farm tool.

redsail is a plotter company. The Vinyl Express R-series are redsails.

as for the cutting better....I say try and change the settings small amounts and see what happens.

my knife offset is at .016 inches, resolution is 1000 steps per inch, and curve quality is set to "medium"

that is in Vinyl Express software....cuts vinyl very nicely
