I am planning to pick up a yellow turbo squeegee but would like to know how soft it is. Is it mainly used to clean the window or to extract water out after film application? or is it made for both? thanks

It is usually used to extract water during film installation. I guess that it could be used for cleaning, but the softer black turbo is better for that.

i saw someone in a shop used a yellow turbo squeegee to clean the window and also to extract the water out. Also this professional tinter from sunstopper use the yellow turbo squeegee to clean the window. Do you guys know if this is common to use the yellow turbo for cleaning?

I have used it for both. For final cleaning, It is just ok not great, it pushes water out well. I use a small unger channel to final clean when I am not sure about using the yellow. Actually I dont even cary a black in my belt because I try to keep what I lug around to a minimum. For the 6 bucks the yellow is gonna cost you just try it and if you dont like it toss it and move on

bingo.gif so many people worry too much about what each squeegee its used for. Everyone uses them different, end of story. Like this week I've been playing around using my black smoothie for cleaner and install and its working out fine. Last week I used a unger/clear max for install and a yellow for cleaning. Week before that was a blue max with no handle for install and a cut down clear max for cleaning.

It all depends on what YOU like, not what people on here like.

I use the yellow for cleaning and a quick first squeege. Then I follow with my blue max.

there are different yellow turbo's at that. I have one that's bright yellow and more flexible than my other that is a dull yellow and a little stiffer. I did cut the latter off of a large channel tho. It still works the same

bingo.gif my favorite one is the "dull" or lighter yellow one, that is square on the channel part. The other few I have I don't like, and are the "bright" or "dark" yellow with the rounded top by the channel. Those ones are much softer
ISTHATFACTORY?

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
