Full Version: cant see in day or night but wants to see out
Ok, went to quote a job today, its for AA meeting room.. requirements are nobody can see in day or night, I think ok white matt if they want light or black out if its ok to be dark..... no go they want to be able to see out at night.. I dont know of anything I can do as having the light source from behind will let people see in..... any tint/specialty films that meet their requirements?? thanks for the help
Your right, thats not possible.
who ever invents that film, will be a millionaire over night. how about perferated vinyl on the outside, like you see on the the rear windows of trucks, and buses.?
You still wouldnt be able to see out at night, if the lights were on inside, with the perf vinyl.
ya I was bummin.. thought it was a done deal till I hear the crazy requirement lol...

I get this request at least 10 times a month. I tell custy it defies the laws of physics. Decorative films has a ton of obscure options that can help
sell them something like solar Gard's Grey/siver/grey and in very small print in the contract state the lights must be turned off at night

I do my best in life to always be honest with the customers, but when I'm losing thousands because they thought that no one could see in then it gets old.
