LEO'n'DARTZ

They still do it and I think they still are the only ones. It's a security film with alarm wires laminated into it, it' called PROFILON Alarm, they also have PROFILON Tempest (since over 10 years now) which is a radiowave shielding film in form of security film. In terms of security film, they make HUGE proyects, in 2002 I installed some 700m2 for them in Heidelberg/Germany, that was part of a 100.000m2 ++ proyect for the US-Army in Germany. They are hard at work in the middle east, huge proyects over there.... Haverkamp, the company, has some very unique products to offer, many of them exclusive...

Hi Nik Nak - I was curious...from the blurb I got, Haverkamp make it, and SOL distribute it.

The alarm wires inside the security film have one specific reason, that is to act as a glass brake sensor which is 100% false alarm prove....
LEO'n'DARTZ
Yes, but as I remeber was not easy install all this jazz.....
Anycase - they make nice job in security field.
Really much smarter than fighting for shrin-king lol2.gif
But - of course - now market changing a little bit.
By the way tested one "12" mil (really 12 mil thikcness) from one more "american" manufacturer - stone pass through like there were nothing.
Some companies (also mentioned here) make just look-like films, and don't think about work-like.

Hi Naughty, Leo, everybody,

almost everything discussed here is right. The well known Courtaulds group of Prince SL, Arnim B., John dB and a few more of their old crew have joined Haverkamp to boost their automotive part of the business. ( Pretty much the complete force of LLuLLu Germany, I wonder how long they will survive without them) tic tac, tic tac.
Haverkamp is a long operating and solid company in security applications, as far as window film specialized in security films (as mentioned) and flat glass in general. The new automotive films I've tried are excellent. Very good seminars as well. Haverkamp as well as SL have very good names in this business, so it is obvious they won't risk it with bad films or bad service.
For you guys in the UK, if you know John you know you ar dealing with a good honest man and one of the biggest experts from any aspect in window film in the world. Trust me.

And: no, I am not on their payroll. I know the market well and this is my opinion.

Try - not bad. May be one of the best...

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
