wtf i just did one weird glass on there what is every doing with them??? i rolled down the window about 3 quarters down cut the edge rolled her up mark where it sits then cut here out .... if you cut it as normal when you roll it down the gaps are unacceptable tuff glass

That's why some use templates starting with the window rolled up and the door closed, then mark the edges with a dry erase marker so we can see how to align the film to have no gaps.

td if you do it with the window up you will have about a 2 inch gap with it rolling down ...down the right side its a tuff one pal i did it twice to get it shaved and no gaps

On windows such as these, I use freezer paper to make a pattern. Put your finger on the edge of the glass, then roll it up and down and see how far away from the edge your finger gets. Then you can add where you need to without wasting film. Just my 2 cents!

I mean starting with the glass rolled up, I draw my side marks and then pull the paper away from the bottom of the glass, roll it down, then use the side of the pencil lead against the the top edge of the glass to finish the pattern. orngbiggrin.gif

I've only done the 2 front doors on these and the patterns fit perfect using the Tint Tek 20 /20 . Ican tell the way the doors were though that TD is right ..best making a template if doing by hand thumb.gif

Ive done quite a few Cubes b/c of my nissan dealer acct. Before there was a pattern for it I made my own pattern. When i installed the film, I have to roll the window 3/4 of the way down to install. Now, I push the gasket down, and install as if the gasket was taken out. Slide in one side (like 2 freaking inches) and then the other. Some out cleaner that way instead of rolling it down so far.

Make your templete on the inside... it should slide behind everything really easy. Easy after that.. just a strange vehicle. Back windows are pretty quick and easy too.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
