Right just back on the island after a nice ferry journey. Would like to say thamks to Nik and the guys at Bonwyke for a good day. Was nice to meet fellow tinters and put some names to faces from here!! Thanks to Matty Cox for showing various examples of methods. I must say i have always used the micro edge method, but after seeing the finish on the roll ups with a file, its the way forward for me!! Thanks to the guys i chatted with you know who you are, and thanks to Nik for the goody bag (and the other bit
Cool. It's always nice to hear about when the members get together. Did you get any pics?

Many thanks To Nik, Chris and Doreen for the organisation to get the day up and running.
I'm not very familliar with a lot of the techniques on here, what is the micro edge method compared to the file?

Micro edge there is a few mm gap at the top of a roll down, when its filed its a few mm over but then filed back to the exact curve of the glass to give it a "factory" look, hard to tell that a film has ben applied, it looks much better without a doubt, takes it up, one notch in my view. Where are you from you need to fill in your profile?
