I have posted this in the euro section for a quick answer (hopefully) when we have that Tint Dude feel free to move it to the Peugeot section. Got the dealer bringing in a 5 door 107, havent seen the 5 door in person, but a search on the net for photos show the rear passenger doors have a glass fixing going through the glass, is this a standard screw.Torx fixing to remove to tint around the hole, and not like a stupid Fiat type etc with a pop rivit that need drilling out? Thanks Guys need to find out as this is the first car for the Peugeot dealers ive had and hopefully may lead to some more work after

From what i remember it is a T20 torx going through the glass - certainly not riveted. Absolute doddle.

Cheers Guys, great help!!! had the dealer on the phone this afternoon, said its not the 3 door as he thought but the 5 door. No worries i said just get your guys to pull the door cards off before you bring it down, as per the other dealers do for me. When i checked the 5 door out on the net, its got stupid quarterlight window for the rear passenger doors! How stupid is that i thought it would have normal roll ups!!?? Left them a message dont pull the door cards off!! So what other 5 doors dont have roll up windows for the passengers then? What a bloody stupid design??

Wow! You've got it sorted, wish the Merc dealers would strip out the cls's for me!

Right left this in the unit tonight had a quick look at it before i left, another quick question!! Looking at the rear screen the top right hinge, do you guys completely remove the 10mm bolt from the inside to move the hindge out of the way, i would think the glass will hold itself in position? Just think it will be better than trying to tuck the film around the circular rubber on the inside? So with the glass shut do you remove the right hand hinge totally out of the way? Thanks!! I see these are the same as the C1 aswell
matty cox
shrink it, cut the bottom overhang by about 2cm , then when installing, push up to hinges and trim neat, coxy

Right side windows easy, no worries! The rear screen, beat me up!! With the right hand hinge coming just into the glass it thro out the whole film wouldnt sit how i wanted on that side, result, small crease in the top, 2nd time big finger on the right side, 3rd time got annoyed and went to quick small crease! Sit outside, dont smoke now, so no fag, but a can of coke! Go back shut the rear hatch glass, take out the 10mm bolt on the inside move the hinge out of the way and tape back on the roof and shrink, this for me lt the film lay down much better. Put on the peel board, put the bolt back in, open and install, then close, wip the bolt back out to get the film around the whole fully, bit of heat, then reinstall the bolt open up the hatch and job done!! For me the Clio yesterday was quicker! Thats how i did it, and it worked for me, i will do this next time! Couldnt really shrink the bottom and move down, due to the rear washwipe in the way? i Cant think of a screen that i had too do 4 times???? Still got there, know for next time!! Hope the dealers happy!! icon_mrgreen.gif

Ok, I do them this way.
Is this the same as the little Toyota and the citroen? It has a hinge on the right side at the too?

I tape the glass in place and them remove the bolt, then shrink and install from the inside - it worked better this way for me - try it!

Yep thats one Nik, Same as th Citreon C1 i just could not get it to lay right until i removed that bolt and got the right hand hinge out of the way, same as you remove and tape out the way, and install, i also was thinking of installing from the inside coupe style aswell! Wont waste time on this one again, its all learning the quick and easy way!!

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
