I had a potential client call and inquire about this film. What is the warranty for this product in an exterior applicaiton? Thank you.

EDITED, I input the text wrong. This is the film I am inquiring about. Exterior shatter resistant film which does not appear to have been tested for code purposes at this point.

The film you are looking for dose not exist. If you break down what you are asking for it would be SH=Shatter CL=Clear AR=Abrasion Resistant X= Exterior L= Liner.

I don't think its available in the US market but they have this "Safety S40 Exterior (SH4CLARXL)" there are several films listed in their 09 manual that are not available in the states. That is what I was told

Also called "Safety 40 Exterior", I edited my post as I input the test incorrectly. Thank you for any info. FB check on it though, after posting I recalled that I was looking into an exterior bronze film not the one you were looking for. 4 mil EX might be available here I can't say because I didn't ask for that specifically. I was told bronze EX was europoean market not US.

That very well could be the case for both. I know that CP makes an ERPS4 which I have used in the past, however I was told that it is primarily a European product. I also had to get preapproval for the application and the film took awhile to get. It was on backorder because they rarely make lots of the film.
Thanks again. Any further info available is appreciated, including the warranty.

EN 12600 UL 972 ANSI Z-97.1 BS 6206 CPSC 1201 EN 356 Din 52290
As far as international building codes you may want to call them 1-800-660-5559

Seem to remember it was available in the US at one time - but long ago. Probably very limited call for it.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
