Full Version: Another way to save money...
Those garbage bags that you throw your scrap into on FG jobs, and throw out at the dumpster, can be saved.... lol... We started just dumping the scraps out and saving the bags and re-using them, after a few uses they are ready to be thrown out though, especially after a safety film job or two... Doesnt save alot of money, but it does save some, every penny counts especially now-a-days.
if i open a new box if film on a job, i take of the plastic bag thats around the roll, tie one side up and stuff the scraps into that.
Well I just eat the scraps..... Then I save the cost of both the plastic bag AND lunch...

I do that too on occasion, or use a large liner from a big window and wrap up the scraps in it and us a trimmed piece of film to tie it up.
Why stop there, after you're done using them as trash bags, save them for removals
Pot head...................
Saving hundreds right there..

Lay the first liner down and then roll it all up and tie with a piece of film scrap. ![]()
I also tie the end of the roll liner and stuff it with scraps like snappy. I fold my clear liners and stuff them last because a folded liner takes up less room than a balled up liner.
