Been stripping some Solar Gold film off 850 sq meters of office space this week... Absoloute night mare... Smells horride, and comes off like fiberglass, creating the biggest dust problem ever.... Film has been on for the last 20+years, and has crazied beyond belife. Needless to say there is no easy way of removing it other than elbow grease.....

Im just over half way through on the removal process....... and just want to get it all off now....

Then.....

Refit with some Solar Safety Film.....

Taken some pictures and a lil video of how bad this stuff is at removing and will put them on here when i get back to base and get my data lead...

Onwards and upwards!!!

I feel you pain. Hang in there.
Solar-Shades
Hanging in there... Steamer in one hand, scraper in the other, and blisters on each finger.... And lungs full of small gold filings of film from yester year..

...It did mate, had about 100sq meters to do but paid very well

It was like haveing glitter every where so we just kept spraying it
with a light mist of water to try and keep it down abit. Lucky for
us the block was empty so we didnt have to worry about the mess
we made...how about you ( i feel your pain )
Solar-Shades
Yeah same, like, gold speckles of glitter everywhere..... Glue dust is horrid....

Block is been worked in daily, so like you said, keep it wet to keep the dust down.... ;-) Cant wait for it to be done.....

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
