Hi , Im only new to the forum but seems like a great place to get some good advice , i have been tinting for 8 yrs and never had the need for a Steamer as i work for a New Vehicle department . I dont do alot of removal but recenlty have had alot of inquiries to pull off old film . Just wondering if anyone has any good recommendations?

Wagner steamers are popular here in Oz.

my crew and i use conair steamers they work great and they are cheap....just make sure you get one with the bottle you fill and goes into the steamer they heat faster then the self contained water holder walmart has them beer.gif

I use a wagner steamer i got from my supplier , they are good but be careful you have to watch the water level , once i left it on and it almost fully dried out and completely burnt out the element which meant time to go in the bin and buy a new one. also wagner wouldn't honour the warrenty for 3 reasons one being its a handy man designed unit not commercial and 2 i was not steaming wallpaper with it and 3 the invoice was from film supplier so i couldn't even tell fibbs lol.

I haven't seen anyone mention "sweating". You don't need a steamer,if you cover the glass with black plastic and set it in the sun for some time. Solarpro, USA

Nope, no steamer needed for that process.

I still think they are a worthwhile tool to have though.

got conair also bought it from bed bath and beyond.....came with several different atachments
