Solar Gard questions

Hey everyone, Just got my 09 Mazda 6 done and I love it. Ended up getting 20% in the rear passenger and rear window, with 50% in the front windows. My question is that on the window tint I see "Solar Gard, made in the usa" in tiny lettering throughout the tint, but only really in the back windows that are darker. I know it's really hard to see but my problem is the one side is upside down haha. Will these words or brand go away after away or is this never supposed to be there to start with? I love the tint and besides the one window having the writing being upside down it looks great. Thanks and sorry if this has been asked before.

Ive been laying Solar Gard since it was DTI. Ive never seen this in our film. What line did you have installed?

Hey trimguy, thanks for the quick reply. yah, I've been researching it and looking around but idk to tell you the truth what kind it is. I'm only seeing it in the rear passenger windows and maybe in the rear window. Is there somewhere that I can check on the film to see what brand or kind it is? And is that what you mean by line?

Try taking isopropyl alcohol to it, should remove the logo.

Ok, isopropyl is ok for this stuff? Awesome thanks. I'm guessing it's completely safe for it and then just use water after that or like a tint cleaner. I've never heard of rubbing alcohol being safe for tint, but if you say it's cool I'll trust ya man, thanks again for all the help here.

you choose a great window film good choice...its on the films that they ship out of the country ...the films they have here dont have it ...but when there is over stock on the product they offer it to us thats how you have that product on your car but the alcohol should take care of the words for you...

Wow, awesome. Thanks for all the responses everyone. I can't believe I've never known about this site before. Everyone's so quick to respond and full of knowledge, hidden gem for sure. That's really funny but cool I ended up with it, it looks really good and can't wait to go cruising back to college tomorrow with it. I'll rub it up and then use something to clean it up. Any suggestions to clean the window tint? I saw sprayaway was mentioned on another forum but can I just use something like windex or no? Just hoping to pick something up from a retail store around here. Thanks again all you guys, made my weekend haha.

Any glass cleaner w/o amonia should work fine. Nothing abrasive. That being said if they have just been tinted give it a few weeks before cleaning. Let it dry.

now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
