Like the color too.. Just wanted to send some info out..!
Yea, I had to had a little more soap. How do you like it compared to Greystone and Marathon?
we are now using marathon for all our installs, its the bomb diggity. Aggresive adhesive is perfect at least for me. Great color, great service. Since the suntek split up with they're distributor forced us to switch. were happy and were not going anywhere else for now

Yeah it does tack sometimes a little too quick, then if you have too much soap in your slip it will be all over the place....all in all I have no complaints. I have an issue with it matching factory jeep cherokee perfectly though, its a little blue, But im pretty|\|4L about matching factory

Looks awesome!!
its basically the same as SP...which is bad, SP doesnt last but about 2 years and the back glass is grainy as hell, but i hear it last longer in other places. the sun here in the south is killer, so its easy for me to tell what is a good film or not. i know a guy that has used marathon, and had a complaint about blistering and graining with too much heat...this is coming from an SP user...so... no.

Isn't it a new film... how can it already be blistering??
just because it is new doesnt mean its better. when i say blistering...i mean the heat makes the film and liner blister apart during heating. i know johnsons SP can take alot of heat b4 getting burned...what im saying is that marathon is not like that. i havent used it b4, but this is from only what i hear from a hardcore johnsons user. i hear it cant take the heat like SP. thats all im saying.

I know that SP and Marathon are constructed the same way but Marathon has less metal integrated compared to SP, so from Snappy's experience, I'm pretty sure its not going to last as long as SP, grant it that you're located in an area with as much UV as Snappy's location.

Well let some california people speak about it then.... I am sure there is more UV here... 100 degrees plus..
anyone can say what ever they want about it no matter where they are...the install part is the issue...as of right now, no one can prove how long it last..."california" or not.

The marathon line is pricer then other they have .. the question is it worth it...?
IMO all the johnson films have a great scratch resistant coating on em. I do notice on the SP line that BG installs look grainy especially when there still wet.
on life of film....film is film is film. I dont care what the warranty is on it, after about 5 years or so it needs to be redone, unless, the vehicle see very little UV, I.E. sits in a garage or or shaded area during the better part of its existence on the vehicle. IMO it seems to scratch a little easier than Global, or Llu Llu Oh well, to each his own.
just in my recent experience, I have johnson, lulu, global, solargard and some ASWF, and the best I got in the shop is Johnson and the worst is ASWF. I use the same tools pretty much all the time, but I cant use my lil blue foot on the ASWF at all, and only for tucking on the lulu solar and global. the jonson if I am carful I can use it on the whole window before I use my blue max. as for the ASWF, my blue max scratched it. I used some of the Performer on an escalade, was a head ache, I had to redo it due to faint scratches left from the bluemax.

I have not worked with jojo long term IE warranty issues. but I know they look grainy off bat so why wouldnt be amplified!!
