Full Version: Tint Choices for small shop
HI guys and gals! I run a small shop out of my garage and mainly use 5%(alot of 5%) just on rear doors and rear windshields tho! I don't charge a lot per car, but bang out some really nice work! I get many referals and mainly stick to 1 car/day since i do have my regualr job. My main question is which film is the Best for its value? I can only used Life-Time Warranty film, I was leaning towards ASWF, but i rather get some imput from you before i make my decision.

I also run a small tint shop, and only do work in my spare time. If you want to try a good film with a good price and with a lifetime warranty, try True black from express films. Check it out at www.buytint.com you can get 40x100 roll for $---.00. Another good choice is Global express window films, I hear that the HP film line is top notch, i am going to start using some of the Quick dry plus which is non-metalized film like the TB. Great prices with awesome quality!
I'm still undecided on aswf, but as of right now I would say to stay away. I tried their performer series yesterday on two rolls ups, and for an HP film it seemed extremely thin. Not exactly a good thing in my book. Plus, for a new startup company their prices are pretty high.
and like above me, I would use True Black. its my "main line" film, and I buy a lot of it. I REALLY like it, especially for the price.
try out some johnson marathon
