SAMPLES NEEDED FOR QUV TEST

Winter is setting in here in Danbury, CT. This is the time of the year we love to fire up the QUV. The machine heats up our entire front office area and helps keep us toasty warm during those cold winter days here in the warehouse.

We have room for a total of 82 specimens. We would like to include as many films from as many different manufacturers as possible. Manufacturers are rarely willing to provide us with samples for testing. We rely upon our customers to provide them.

We would like to get the samples loaded and start the test during the last week in November. The test will run for 2,000 hours (approximately 82 days). The machine does get shut down for cleaning and bulb rotation during the test period. Results should be in 100-110 days from the start date.

We would like to have samples from all the major manufacturers. These samples need to be in the form of actual manufacturer sample decks or sample page cards. We require two identical sets. One gets placed into the QUV and the other is retained for comparison at the end.

If you are able to provide us with sample decks for the test, please email me at howard@buytint.com. I will tell you exactly where to send the samples to. If necessary, I will arrange for UPS to pick them up from you. We will not disclose to anyone the fact that you submitted test samples to us.

We will reciprocate by providing you with digital pictures of your samples after the test.

I have a few sample decks I can send you if you want. I have two jwf FG ones, i think a suntek auto one and a global auto one and maybe a few more, I'll have to look.

I can provide some madico samples... I'd be interested
