Ill go ahead and back Jeff up...
While you are hand cutting your graphics, or hand cutting your cars, Jeff has got three strips cut and installed compared to your one, b/c of his plotter. You are mobile. Carrying a plotter would not make sense for you. Should you get a real shop, and you were doing 6-10 cars a day, or doing vinyl or graphics, you'd consider a plotter. I started out hand cutting during MY first 5 years, and bought a plotter as a tool later on. Maybe YOU should stop being a tool.

im still in the process of getting my plotter I got a while ago to cut tint. Right now its pumpin gout vinyl, but I've tried a little bit as practice, but it either doesnt cut all the way through, or cuts ALL the way through haha. I guess I need to pick up a 30 blade that would be a place to start. But I dont think I can use it for anything other than some small graphics, because it doesn't have non-marking rollers, it has the metal ones which would probably show up once the tint is installed. Vinyl, not such a big deal

I have adjustments for everything like that too. My probelm is I have to use all three rollers otherwise it doesn't track right, which isn't a big deal since I just get a little line down the middle. My problem is with a 45 blade 20g is too light and 30g cuts all the way through, no matter how much I play with the blade depth. I'll figure it out eventually I'm sure.

Yes Scotty, got our first one 89-90. The software was DOS based we used. I remember a Gerber plotter then that I had seen in a Alabama ATD I worked 3 days at week. It had 3 or 4 fonts you typed into a screen on it(green and white -OLD school) and it cut it out. DINOSAUR!!!! We used to take a picture and tape it on the vinyl. trace over with a pencil, then cut out each color to make a graphic. This sounds like--- When I was A lad, we walked up hill to school, both ways! But its true.... Flaugh.gif

jack a$$ its done to look straight when its on the car playing on the natural curve of the windshield...if you pull up the pic with it on the car it is, racing is supose to be slanted for effect...your so lost mike and clueless about what your looking at...i just laugh at you!

And yes even on the car it is still not srait.and I was talking about the FORD logo I was not referring to the poor design placement for the word Racing.

Well Jeff as you did start this thread about windshield strips, I found this one you did so I thought you could explain why the smoke tint is so hacked up looking outlining the sides of the crown, and why the crown appears to look crooked. Do you care to elaborate on this?

And what’s with the edges of this one as the outside edges weird-eye.gif all jacked up As in not consistent around the outside of the logo? dunno.gif

Let’s just take a close look weird-eye.gif at this hack job you did on this windshield strip. If you look at the bottom that you tried to cut strait under the letter n but it dips up. AND the FORD logo is not strait as well  that would not pass with me grinning_and_saying_no.gif . I guess some people have different quality standards than others, and why are you always putting up poop.gif looking pics scared to show the real quality of your work?? And yes I am sure you can do way better work than me as you are the Tinting master pitie.gif , does that make you feel better. And by the way you should eat something stick boy you look a little thin. And one more thing when is the next exciting video of yours coming out as I hear that TV show funniest videos is in need of new material. Just think how many people would see it dam you would be even more famous than you are now. jerkit.gif

jack a$$ its done to look straight when its on the car playing on the natural curve of the windshield...if you pull up the pic with it on the car it is, racing is supose to be slanted for effect...your so lost mike and clueless about what your looking at...i just laugh at you!

And what’s with the edges of this one as the outside edges weird-eye.gif all jacked up As in not consistent around the outside of the logo? dunno.gif

funny how i now for a fact the line on the building is straight...not sure how the pictures are get all jacked up, but they are all straight in real life...just not the pictures...the blue line on the building is proof!

so....a poor camera is going to give us the impression that the border around that ford logo is uneven in spots? it's not a poor camera dude, it's a poor cut job with your olfa. Flaugh.gif and he's not your only negative critic.

funny thing....when i was at tintdude's house this weekend he had 2 designs there. they were both negative image designs that looked like stained glass. first thing i asked him was when it was exactly that he got together with you so that you could teach him how to do those. i mean....after all, they are your techniques right? grinning_and_saying_no.gif lol2.gif

i never said anything about the building. i understand why THAT looks choppy. i'm asking about the uneven border around the ford logo. obviously a sloppy handcutting job. Flaugh.gif you can't pass that off as a poor camera. grinning_and_saying_no.gif
