BMW Mini Soft top

Got one of these at the weekend, with regards to the small window in the hood, can the hood be stopped in the "halfway" open closed position, without any trouble, most car you can ok, but i came unstuck with a 206cc hard top roof which if you stopped half up half down to instal and clean and turned the ignition off then disable the electric operation, and this wasnt a good place to be in!! Just need to check, also the rear quarter windows can these be raised ok when the hood is folded down? Cheers Guys

I dont stop any soft tops in the middle now - i just install as i would a saloon. I have had an astra cab stop halfway and not want to work again, you have to push the roof back onto the micro switches as the hydraulics drain when the roof is left half open,

it might be a struggle but it's safer.
