Wanted some input on the new drds films haven't seen
many comments good or bad. I really like the look of
drds15 as well as the specs but haven't used any.
Anyone?

no one is using this film ?

I've done a couple small jobs with it.... I think it looks nice...

I was a fan of the Symphony for the last few years.... Yes the DRDS is a little less reflective.. but then again I never thought the SYDS was too reflective

im guessing the brown color disappears after its installed

I have only done one small job with it but I really like it! So did the customer.

I have used a decent amount of it. It's a copy of Llumar's DR. Looks exactly the same and the specs are just about the same, too. It is kind of brownish and no it doesn't go away. I like the color, it's very natural looking and easy to get used too.

Anyone know if it is dyed? I think Llumar's is.

We use it all the time it is a wonderful film, and my customers really have enjoyed the natural glass look.

It also has a more aggressive adhesive than DR series so we find it easier to install on Sun facing glass.

are your customers preferring the look of drds over the syds ? I'm liking the interior reflectance of drds !

Finally had a chance to use the drds15 today, I must say
the film is very nice I really like the color and the customer
loved it! The only problem I had was curling, the film
kept lifting off the windows, next time I will try reducing
slip bit it's the same slip in my tank I use with madico
without curling. I must say it's due to being rolled
liner out. Why can't manu's get it right and roll all
auto film liner out And resi film liner in. Atleast that's
the way I like it!

I hhave not used much ST film but what has been used went up fine with no curling. A few years back we had a problem with some global silver. The shiat drove me nuts
