Full Version: 2009 mercedes ml 320
did this one yesterday. ventureshield ultra install. i originally started with 3M PPF. the hood piece was so scratched up by the time we had finished squeegeeing it out that i couldn't let it go. i pulled the piece and switched to ventureshield. i'll stick to venture from now on.
rookie
I agree, Venture Ultra has been working great for me latley!
I've heard straight up 70% iso will take most scratches out of 3M.
this ain't my first rodeo....i tried the 70% iso and it didn't do squat.
What pattern did you use? I hate those things. The MB dealership I'm at has me do the service managers demo every month or so. 90% of the time he has a black ML.
i don't use patterns. i bulk roll and cut them myself.

How did the front corners of the hood turn out? thats the question did you use a relief cut on the front of the hood i do these everyday and still cant get tjhese to lay out without stretch marks
no relief cut
(TINT @ Nov 5 2009, 04:06 PM) [*]727378[/*] rookie Benzos are a pain..I can do that hood in 15 minutes. Bumper in 45. Fenders and mirrors, whole package with 24" hour and a half. I was a Mercedes employee for 7 years..thats the only reason why I can rock the benz. Blade. Seperate tools and pouch for ppf and tint. Dont mix it up...unless you really have to.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
